Western Americana

Dear Readers,

Happy 4th of July! This is one of our favorite holidays, which is why we are celebrating America and the great American cowboy as our theme, which is “Western Americana”. We hope you enjoy reading it because we really enjoyed researching, writing, and designing it.

We took some time to explore the Oregon Trail as it crossed Wyoming and stopping at some small and larger historic sites. We learned more about Wyoming being settled and about the communities that have evolved from the small settlements they once were. Wyoming played a major role in western expansion.

We also reached out to some of the iconic Wyoming rodeos that take place throughout the summer and have compiled what we are calling our Wyoming Rodeo Roundup. Learn about the earliest rodeos and cowboys that helped make Wyoming what it is today. 

Our sticker this month, designed by Christine Schlenker, is also the cover for our July issue. Christine perfectly captured the theme and heart of this issue. Be sure to get your stickers from our store - only 100 will be available.
