One of the amazing things we get to do is meet individuals and families doing what they love. Many of whom are diving into new and exciting things. Jay and Mallory are no different and we were excited to check out their brewery, Bond’s Brewing in Laramie. As always, we want to Thank Juli over at Libations in Cody for sponsoring our trip and our content highlighting Wyoming spirits!

The Start

Jay and Mallory opened at the end of 2019 and shortly after had to close during Covid. Like many new businesses during this time, they struggled with having opened a new business during a shut down. Despite the struggle they opted to use their time to improve and grow. They have a great facility and amazing beer. We applaud their hard work and the amazing brewery they have created.

The Ambiance

The aesthetic and atmosphere are incredible. Bonds has an industrial look and feel with exposed brick walls and keeping the tanks as the focal point which can be seen before you walk in the door. The balcony style tap room features an overhead view of the brewery below. The back patio is perfect for those looking to relax with a beer in the fresh air. It features seating around a bonfire for late night hangouts. Throughout the brewery is seating and guests can explore the variety of games available to play. The space was meant to enjoy beer and a good time with friends.

The Beer

We tried quite a few beers and loved what we had! My absolute favorite was not quite ready, but we got to try it directly from the tank, the Hatch Chili IPA. This beer is now on tap and it is amazing and full of flavor. If you have not been to Bonds you need to try their Michelada. This red beer is outstanding has a special spice garnish that is incredible… and completely insane when paired with the Hatch Chili IPA! The Rhuberry is a local favorite and balanced perfectly. The Citra- Hop-a-Dopolis Pale Ale was fantastic. We enjoyed trying these incredible beers with Jay and Mallory. With many craft beers we tend to see really high ABV%; however, Bonds has created amazing flavor without the high alcohol content. Which means we can hang out and enjoy the beer longer!

The Brewery

After trying the beer we headed out on our tour of the brewery. Downstairs we head straight into the grain room where we learned about the grains and hops they use in their beer making. From there we headed into the tank room. The set up of the brewery is unique and super cool. In the photos you can see the garage door above the brewery opens to the side walk allowing people on the street a clear view of the brewery below. While in the tank room we learned about their new seasonal beers being made, the pumpkin and hatch chili and Jay poured some for us to try. The next room we went to was the canning room which features Wild Goose Filling and their counter pressure system.

Hit The Road!
