Places to eat in Saratoga - Bella’s Bistro

Written By: Sarah Reish

There are several amazing places to grab dinner while in Saratoga, the one we chose for dinner was Bella’s Bistro. This warm and homey restaurant invokes the feeling of dinner at mom or grandma’s house. The restaurant is located on 1st street and easy to find with it’s bright exterior.

The Exterior

As mentioned the restaurant’s cheery exterior isn’t easily missed, but the charming patio lounge and side patio dining make a statement of their own. Surrounded by trees offer shade and the iron fence only add to the elegance.

The Interior

Home, the feeling is intimate and personal. From the quiet service and attention from the staff to the warm fresh house made focaccia. While the dining space is small, each table provides a quiet space for dining.  Towards the back is a small and elegant bar.

The Food

Absolutely delicious and scratch made the food comes out fresh and made to order. After ordering, fresh warm herb focaccia was served with oil and balsamic. A fresh Caesar salad followed by a Gorgonzola herb dip with house made chips was a wonderful starter to the meal. Steves dinner was a sea food and artichoke pasta. My dinner was gnocchi with traditional red sauce. It was all wonderful.

Be sure to check out their second eatery! We enjoyed a wonderful sandwich lunch to-go that we took with us into the Sierra Madre’s.
