January 24th is Beer Can Appreciation Day!

It’s Beer Can Appreciation Day and who embraces beer can art more than craft breweries? Of course we need to talk about all the beers from right here in Wyoming.

Wyoming Breweries

So - We haven’t tried them all, but while researching Wyoming breweries for this blog post, I discovered a really cool website called, Wyoming Beer Trail that showcases all of Wyoming’s breweries. Be sure to check it out, they offer a downloadable map! This map allows us to follow the Wyoming Beer Trail, explore Wyoming, and find new breweries and try their beers!

If you start the Wyoming Beer Trail, be sure to tag us in your posts along the way @LiveWYldMag and be sure to hashtag #LiveWYld

Wyoming Can Art

The premise behind Beer Can Appreciation Day is celebrating the art and artists who design the cans. From Snake River’s vintage style Wyoming Cowboy on the Cowboy Gold can to Melvin’s modern artistic style that is truly their own. The art becomes an identifier and brand for each beer a brewery brews.

Do you have a favorite beer can? Tell us about it in the comments!

How can we celebrate?

Let’s celebrate by follow their social media pages and engaging with their posts. When you’re enjoying a beer from a local brewer post a photo and tag them. Help spread the word and grow their following. Doing this can help them grow their audience and sales. In turn we can help them get through this time of having to reduce their patrons and production.

Let’s all do our part!

Today, let’s celebrate and post a photo with our favorite Wyoming beer! We will keep and eye out and share your posts on our page when you tag us!

Cheers!
