Copperline Lodge

Written By: Sarah Reish

While we typically do not write about where we stay, we could not, not write about this place. We searched around while planning this trip and ended up staying here and we are so glad we did. While not fancy, this lodge felt like home from the people to the rooms and the experience. I cannot wait to come back.

Welcome home

It truly felt like family welcoming us when we checked in and got settled. Nancy made sure to tell Steve to get up early and join them for a community breakfast. She also made sure we had everything we needed, including plans for the day. They wanted to make sure we had fun during out time in Saratoga.

The room

While small we had absolutely everything we needed from a full kitchen, albeit small apartment sized, including fridge with freezer, stove and oven, microwave, and coffee maker. There was an armoire, small table and chairs, bed and bathroom. It was perfect for extended stay or short stay. The rustic decor was cozy and homey.

Relax

There was a small pergola offer shade, picnic table, and grill. The front porch of the lobby had a large porch swing perfect to relax on at the end of a long day. The lobby offers guests a table couches and chairs to spread out. And there are instruments and games. For those looking to enjoy extreme outdoor activities during their stay, there is also small oxygen cans to assist with shortness of breath.

Breakfast

While there are no breakfast bells, incase you want to sleep in, breakfast is impressive, so set an alarm. Dan and Nancy make a full on breakfast and each morning it is slightly different. From quiche to breakfast sandwiches, breakfast quesadillas and skillet potatoes, fruit, muffin, juice and coffee - I know I am missing some. It was truly impressive and amazing. Everything was homemade and delicious. When you arrive just go to the kitchen and dish up then join other guests at the large dining table. The family style breakfast allows guests to meet and get to know each other. Dan was there for both of my breakfasts and was an amazing host. I cannot say enough, how much I enjoyed our stay here.
